Our Ingredients

At Bubl, we're on a mission to put child locks out of business.

We take transparency in our ingredients very seriously. We will never put an ingredient in any product we sell that cannot be legally included in infant formula or baby food (at the concentrations we’re using).

All of the formula ingredients we use are Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substances in the United States (by the US Federal Government), but we went the extra mile and limited concentrations to meet the infant formula standards set forth by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (the “FAO of the UN”). Click here to see the infant formula ingredients and concentrations that are restricted by the FAO of the UN.

Detailed Ingredient List

Sodium Hydroxide - This is used to elevate the PH of our formula. Sodium Hydroxide, at the concentrations we’re using it and for the purpose of increasing the PH of our formula, is a Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substance as determined by the United States Federal Government. The concentration we use in our formula is so little that it also satisfies the United Nations' concentration limit for inclusion in infant formula.

Nanobubbles Generated from Oxygen - Our secret sauce. The key to displacing and replacing chemical surfactants. The real power behind Bubl are the microscopic oxygen bubbles that are floating around in our formula waiting to unleash their grime fighting power upon contacting dirt. Nanobubbles generated from oxygen are included in recovery drinks and water beverages and are safe for humans and pets to consume.

Sodium Carbonate - This is used along with Sodium Bicarbonate to emulate the bicarbonate / carbonate buffering system used by both the human body and the oceans to maintain precise levels of PH over long periods of time. We’ve let nature lead in every facet of our creating Bubl, which gives it a very long shelf life. Sodium Carbonate, at the concentrations we’re using it, is a Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substance as determined by the United States Federal Government. The concentration we use in our formula is so little that it also satisfies the United Nations' concentration limit for inclusion in infant formula.

Sodium Bicarbonate - This is used as a PH buffer to help maintain the shelf life of Bubl. The United States Federal Government has determined that Sodium Bicarbonate is a Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substance. Sodium Bicarbonate (aka baking soda) in infant formula or baby food is not limited by the United Nations FAO.

Summary - Every chemical ingredient in our household cleaner is a Generally Recognized as Safe Food Substance. We use so little of each ingredient that they can each be legally included in infant formula or baby food. Notably, you’ll see a lot of things that are missing from our ingredient mix: surfactants, glucosides, phosphates, phthalates, fragrances, dyes, bleach, ammonia, and PFAS.
